Patricia Lynch (4 June 1894 - 1 September 1972) was an Irish journalist and children's author who wrote 48 novels and over 200 short stories. Her work often combined elements of Irish rural life and fantasy, as seen in her best-known book The Turf-Cutter’s Donkey, illustrated by Jack B. Yeats.
