Paraic O’Donnell is a novelist, essayist and critic who lives in Co Wicklow, Ireland. His most recent novel, The House on Vesper Sands, was a Guardian and Observer book of the year and one of the New York Times‘s Best Books of the Summer for 2021.

His essays and reviews have appeared in the Guardian, the Irish Times, Winter Papers and elsewhere.
