Laura Keohane is a children's fantasy author from Co. Clare who writes middle-grade adventures rooted in Irish folklore.

She trained as a dentist at University College Cork and practised for 16 years in Limerick and Shannon. She is currently taking a break from dentistry while studying to become a primary school teacher through Hibernia College.
